Villa Isodore is a classic Cycladic holiday home located on the south coast of Mykonos. Situated on expansive grounds of 5,500 square meters adorned with mature Mediterranean flora, the property offers a serene and private atmosphere. With seven spacious bedrooms, the villa comfortably accommodates up to eighteen guests, making it suitable for large family gatherings or gatherings of friends.
The accommodation spans two levels, comprising a main family house, separate guest studios, and staff quarters. It features a sea-view terrace with a private infinity swimming pool and an eight-person Jacuzzi.
The main villa's ground floor features a spacious 150-square-meter open-plan living area, including two seating areas with comfortable sofas and entertainment options. A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances caters to culinary needs, complemented by a dining area for indoor entertaining. Additionally, two bedrooms on this level share a bathroom, with a storeroom providing added convenience.
Upstairs, the master bedroom suite offers sea views, a double bed, driftwood furnishings, and an ensuite bathroom. Four separate guest studios each feature private entrances and ensuite bathrooms, ideal for couples or smaller groups.
The outdoor living space is highlighted by a two-tiered stone terrace with a large infinity pool and an adjacent Jacuzzi. Cushioned sun loungers surround the pool, while a pergola with seating offers a shaded retreat. An alfresco dining area with a stone-sculpted table and wood-fire barbecue overlooks the Aegean Sea, perfect for enjoying local delicacies.
Villa Isodore boasts panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, with the nearest sandy beach just a short ten-minute walk away. It also includes private parking for up to eight cars, as well as amenities such as complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout.
Villa Isodore is located on the southern tip of the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, part of the Cyclades in the heart of the Aegean Sea. The exclusive island of Mykonos measures only ten kilometres long by fifteen kilometres wide, so wherever you want to go it’s only a short drive away. The villa is just eleven kilometres from Mykonos airport, which is served by both local and international flight operators. If you are island hopping, the nearby islands Naxos and Syros also have their own airports.
The new port of Mykonos is a hub of activity for those landing and departing from the ferries, or super yachts cruising the Aegean, and is a quick twenty five minute drive to the villa. The villa is near the resort town of Elia on the south coast, famous for its white sandy beaches, and stylish seafront restaurants. Villa Isodore boasts one of the best locations on the island of Mykonos, situated just a kilometre metre from the beautiful soft sandy beach of Agrari, a ten minute walk down a well-worn path will take you to paradise. Agrari Beach is family-friendly, offering a selection of water sports, a playground, and cafes and bars, the south coast beaches have calmer sea waters than those in the north, which can be affected by the notoriously strong winds. Near the villa, there is a tennis court, fitness centre, and fishing opportunities.
The coastline is populated with many beautiful golden sandy beaches, take your pick from nearby nudist Elia beach, to the family-friendly favourite of Plays Gialos Beach, or party, party, party all day long on Paradise Beach, with its crystal clear waters, restaurants, bars, and clubs with resident DJs, there’s something for everyone on the island of Mykonos. During daylight hours play penance in one of the eight hundred churches that populate the island, most notably Paraportiani, which is a unique construction combining four styles of architecture.
Take a visit to Mykonos town, known locally as Chora, and only five kilometres from the villa. Here you can wander the maze of streets with the colourful Cycladic houses, do some serious designer-label shopping in one of the many luxury boutiques. Then take a table at a seafront restaurant and enjoy a dish of freshly caught seafood, whilst sipping ouzo and watching the beautiful people pass by. Find out the island’s history and culture at the Archaeological Museum, the Folk Museum, and the Maritime Museum, then go out of town to Lena’s House to discover how the islanders lived.
No visit to Mykonos is complete without a day at sea, join a catamaran jolly and snorkel in the sea, or if you’re feeling flush, charter your own yacht and discover secret coves and hidden bays and beaches, and for the romantics, nothing beats a sunset cruise, cocktail in hand as the sun sets over the horizon. Further afield the uninhabited island of Delos is well worth a visit, a unesco World Heritage Site, home to the birthplace of Zeus and Leto, go with a group or arrange your own private tour.
