Venture into the countryside for walks through plenty of different terrains from woodland to country lanes, or discover more attractions nearby including Cahir Castle, Mitchelstown Cave, and Carey's Castle as well as Bunratty Castle where you can have a tour of the castle and there is a traditional folk park as well as medieval banquets which are great fun.

The popular tourist spot of Cashel is within easy reach to see the Rock of Cashel, a limestone hill with preserved medieval buildings.
