One of the oldest horse fairs in Ireland takes place every year on September 3rd in Tallow. The distance between Tallow and Lismore, a vibrant historic town with a 17th-century hilltop cathedral and an impressive castle with gorgeous Jacobean gardens, is only six miles. Everything is available here, including live pub music, recommended restaurants, arts and crafts, and a renowned golf course nearby. There are countless beaches, bays, and cliff tops to explore on the breathtaking coastline between Youghal and Dungarvan.
