From the house, guests can be on the sand in around five minutes, with the beach offering clear water and a more natural setting than the larger resort beaches nearby.
Calella de Palafrugell itself is known for its seafront restaurants, small beaches and traditional whitewashed streets, while Cap Roig Botanical Garden lies just beyond Golfet. Further along the coast, Llafranc, Tamariu and a string of smaller coves are all easy to reach by car or via sections of the coastal path.
The coastal path is another major draw. From Golfet, the Camí de Ronda follows the shoreline towards Calella, passing rocky coves, viewpoints and Mediterranean vegetation before reaching the village’s waterfront. The official route between Golfet and Port Bo is around 1.5 km, making it an easy way to reach Calella on foot while taking in the coastline along the way.
