Heron Cottage in Ely offers a peaceful, rural retreat with clean accommodation and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the heated pool, rustic grounds, and the wildlife-rich walks. The property is well-kept with lovely touches, though some outdoor areas could use more attention. It's ideal for those seeking tranquillity off the beaten track.
The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The location is remote and peaceful, appreciated for its quietness and access to nature, though some mention of bad road subsidence suggests accessibility issues.
Comfortable beds and a generally nice accommodation suggest a good level of comfort, with no negative comments about this aspect.
Facilities like the indoor pool are praised, but the mention of a non-functional hot tub and a need for better maintenance of the bike play area indicate some room for improvement.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.
