We had such a lovely stay over the long weekend. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking forpeaceful, remote, and perfect for switching off from everyday life. The surroundings were beautiful, and we were lucky to see some amazing wildlife during our stay, which made it even more special. The property itself was very clean, comfortable, and well looked after, making it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. The swimming pool was perfect, and we really enjoyed spending time there as part of our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful escape, and wed happily return.

A lovely retreat with a few things worth knowing before you book We had a really pleasant stay at the cottages and would happily return. The setting was beautiful, and watching deer in the mornings and evenings was a genuine highlight, exactly the kind of moment you hope for on a trip like this. The upstairs open bedroom was charming and the kids absolutely loved it. One thing to be aware of, though: because its open plan, once theyre settled for the night its difficult to move around downstairs without disturbing them, chatting or watching TV at a normal volume was a challenge. Not a dealbreaker, just worth factoring in. On the practical side, we found the temperature tricky to regulate overnight, alternating between too warm and too cold. An extra blanket in the room would make a real difference. Wi-Fi is esentially non-existent. We hadnt anticipated this and it caused us stres, as I had to rearrange meetings. Great if youre after a proper digital detox!

My family and I had a lovely, relaxing 1 week stay. The surrounding countryside was perfect for morning & evening walks made even more beautiful by the abundant wildlife to see like deer, pheasants, hares & rabbits. The indoor pool was warm and the kids loved splashing about in it every day. We will definitely be back!
