Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Back garden with sitting-out area. Private parking for 2 cars. Small dogs only. No smoking. Please note: Property is accessed via footpath only.. Inside, the cottage has a homely living/dining space and a well-equipped separate kitchen for easy family meals. From here, glass patio doors lead to a private courtyard-style garden with space to sit outside between outings. Upstairs, there are restful places to sleep on two levels, including a tucked-away room under the eaves that feels pleasantly secluded.
Upper Rissington offers calm village life with access to Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and the Slaughters for walking or cycling through the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Families can visit Birdland Park & Gardens or the Cotswold Motoring Museum before returning to share stories over supper in this welcoming cottage.

We felt this property was not value for money. Didn’t like the location, a distinct and extremely unpleasant odour (possibly dog or cat urine) was evidenced on opening the front door! This odour remained throughout the duration of our stay, and appeared to emanate from the rugs and possibly the floor underneath the rugs in the double bedroom on the first floor. No operating instructions for cooker, microwave or TV, no welcome pack with details of local amenities, GP Surgery, dentist, hospital, etc. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this property.

A very nice modern stone-built house. The pictures don’t do it justice. Well located for the Cotswolds.
