Perfect stay. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights, it was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of space for us both and it was quite possibly the best equipped holiday home I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you needed and some! It was warm and cosy and clean. The location is very quiet, was exactly what we needed for a break away from the city. We will be returning!

If you’re looking for a quiet, off the beaten track, traditional Cotswold property then this is the break for you. The village of Brockhampton is very quiet, with no amenities, surrounded by lovely walks. The cottage dates from the 1800’s so has uneven upper floors, steep narrow stairs and dark rooms ( negatives we’ve seen in previous reviews) but this is to be expected and adds to the character. The cottage is comfortable, well furnished with effective heating. A really comfortable bed in the main bedroom. A great information book is provided with lots of helpful tips for visits/ activities in the local area. Cleanliness is standard. Car is essential as there is nothing locally.

Beautiful location with a cute cottage! The lighting concept needs a little improvement because it is in some parts a little bit dark. The kitchen is well equipped but the pots ar not good for cooking. They need to be replaced. Very kind was that there is a welcome food to start the morning 🍀 This was very nice! The best about the place is the calmness…
