East Leaze is a well-loved cottage praised for its beautiful garden, excellent location, and cosy, well-equipped interiors. Guests have enjoyed the property's charm and proximity to Chipping Campden High Street, finding it a comfortable base for exploring the Cotswolds. While some guests encountered issues, these were exceptions in a collection of largely positive experiences.
Cleanliness received mixed feedback. Several guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, while others reported cleanliness issues such as dust, cobwebs, and dirty kitchenware. The majority of reviews, however, did not mention significant problems, suggesting that cleanliness is generally maintained to a good standard.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Chipping Campden High Street and ease of access to local attractions. Guests appreciated the convenience for exploring the Cotswolds and the peacefulness of the area. The location contributed positively to the overall experience.
Comfort is well-regarded with guests enjoying the cosy atmosphere and well-furnished rooms. Some guests mentioned issues with bed comfort and the heat in the conservatory, but these were not widespread concerns. Overall, the property is seen as a comfortable retreat.
Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and spacious garden. However, there were grievances about the lack of a barbecue, a small fridge, and maintenance issues like a broken shower rose. While these detracted from the experience, the facilities were otherwise commended.
While some guests mentioned a welcome gift, there were not enough references to thoughtfulness-related amenities or gestures to accurately assess this category. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed that such gifts are a consistent offering or a standard part of the experience.

This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.

We had a lovely week at East Leaze. Beautiful garden that was an oasis of calm. Very well equipped house - kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Lovely and spacious. Our only comment is that the en-suite bathroom (which we didnât need to use) had a horrible smell of damp coming from it which did creep into the bedroom if the en-suite door was left open. Overall a really wonderful stay. Thank you.

Everything was exactly as described, incredibly clean and well equipped. The property was SO comfortable and the dogs really adored the outdoor space. We had one small issue with key box while there and the management company responded immediately and resolved the issue. Excellent customer service and will not hesitate to book this cottage again. The ONLY one downside is that parking on street can be a bit difficult (busy road and canât always get parked) but that was clearly stated on description so we were totally prepared. Overall an excellent break in a very comfortable and well located property.
