The welcome pack is nice to receive maybe some orange juice as a little extra might be welcoming also, just a thought? Hope Cottage has plenty of room for two people, it would be ideal for four but if children came they would ideally have to be it too young, as the stairs are steep and I felt needed something to the side of them for a little more safety. Watch out for the step between the kitchen and boot room, you can trip up as the step ideally should be see better somehow. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the cottage had been used for a while before we stayed, hence the top bathroom between the bedrooms had an awful smell of drains for ages, this disappeared by the time we had left, as the water had gone through the drains with showers etc. The shower head was completely useless and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The portable heater in the tv room needs a new wheel attached! dangerous as it is. The welcome folder is out of date for the heating system, I eventually found out that the plug in Honeywell attachment on the floor in the snug area was needed to put the heating on and it was definitely needed. We didn’t use the garden as it rained a lot but the garden could have had a quick cut of the lawn, plus if it had been nice I’m not sure if seat pads were anywhere? The shed/ Wendy house needed a bit of attention. Parking is always a problem when staying in the Cotswolds as we know, due to coming twice before in the area in the summer, but after unpacking on the hill outside, we always moved the car a little further down the road where the school was, which was not a problem. The bed linen is very comfortable by the way, which I believe we have had before at a Sykes property, I would love to buy some similar. All in all a lovely stay and the village is located well to visit Stow, Moreton, Broadway, etc

Every detail was a delight. The cottage garden was lovely and enchanting. The village of Longborough was also very charming. We enjoyed the Coach and Horses pub and the country store was adorable and had everything we needed. We will miss the cottage and hope to be back soon.

It’s easy to visit other parts of the Cotswolds from this location. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms and a further downstairs toilet. The kitchen is spacious and really well equipped for cooking. There’s a second sitting room with a TV and then a conservatory that overlooks the beautiful garden. Even though the cottage is in the centre of the village the location is very quiet. We really enjoyed our time in Hope Cottage and hopefully will return at some future date.
