As you approach, a few steps lead you to a spacious wrap-around enclosed veranda with its own private jetty extending across the lake, complete with a seating area perfect for enjoying the evening sun with a chilled drink. The veranda also offers a cosy outdoor seating space, where ducks and geese may become your daily companions.
Inside, the lodge boasts an open-plan layout that combines a comfortable living area, dining space, and a well-equipped kitchen. The living room, with its inviting electric fireplace, is perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. It also features a smart TV and direct access to the veranda. The lodge accommodates up to six guests with three beautifully appointed bedrooms, a king room with an en-suite shower, a second king room that can be converted into two singles on request, and a twin room with two single beds. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the interior, ensuring comfort for all.

We stayed in the lodge for Christmas week and had a fabulous time. This is our second time staying in Lilac Tree lodge and it was even better this time as everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The welcome hamper was also a lovely touch. It’s very dog friendly and our 2 dogs felt very at home. I would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay, it was extremely clean and everything has been well thought out. The location is lovely, lots to do in the marina and nice walks around the area. Easy to get to places, our favourite was Bakewell. Ruth has thought of everything to make your stay perfect and some nice little extras too.
