We were an extended family group of 16, all ages. This is a cheap but quite shabby house. There is lots of internal space here but it's an odd layout. The bathrooms all have issues but there was hot water, clean towels and the toilets worked! There is parking but not on site. We hadn't realised how easy it was to get there by train. it's also next door to a great pub, another across the road and many others very close. A great quirky stay for a group to go walking the Derwent valley - hop on and off the train. Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath was great for everyone - we even took the dog. Also would be great for Stags & Hens. But they really need to put a kitchenette on the ground floor! Also it said "dog friendly" but the garden is not secure and there were instructions not to let the dog upstairs (which is most of the house)
