Perfect size and a great ‘out of the way’ location but one that meant we could just leave the cars and walk everywhere. Very interesting local spot to explore by the canal & river and the high peak trail. The log cabin was an extra bonus.

". This opinion remained throughout our stay. All parts of the cottage were scrupulously clean; no amenity or detail had been overlooked. It was the perfect conjunction of charming country cottage but with all mod cons. The Nordic Cabin was exactly as pictured and the fire easy to light - perfect for Christmas Eve hot chocolate with the kids. We felt the 10a.m. departure time on the final morning was a little early, particularly with the cleaner hovering outside to gain access. However, we would recommend this booking in a heartbeat!!

The complimentary wine, biscuits, tea, coffee etc was a lovely touch. The cabin was amazing, we all enjoyed our cosy evenings spent in there. Thank you so much.
