This popular village has a fine selection of shops and pubs, take a canal boat ride along Cromford Canal or visit Arkwright s Mill, which is a World heritage site. From Cromford there is easy access to the High Peak Trail which is a favorite with walkers, walkers and ideal for cycling. Nearby is a children s park and a nature reserve. Matlock Bath has a huge selection of cafes and ice cream parlours and is also the starting point for the cable car that takes you to the Heights of Abraham. The old mill town of Matlock has a superb range of craft shops, independent stores and bars, whilst Chatsworth Estate is just 10 miles away. Outdoor enthusiasts are well catered for with the wondrous Peak District National Park with a wealth of must visit tourist spots. Take a walk up to Black Rocks and enjoy a picnic alongside the beautiful views. Excellent transport links with Cromford Railway station nearby.
