Located in the very heart of the historic town of Dronfield in Derbyshire, you are perfectly located to explore the wonderful scenery of The Peak District National Park and only a short drive from the cities of Chesterfield and Sheffield. A gentle stroll from the doorstep you will find many facilities in the local area, both old and new, with numerous local shops, restaurants and amenities.
Travel a little further afield and a 10-minute drive brings you to the wonderful Peak District with its abundance of magnificent scenery, nature trails, historic buildings and tourist attractions. Make sure you visit Chatsworth House Estate and Gardens, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and one of the UKs most famous country houses. The historic market towns of Bakewell and Eyam can be found along with numerous picturesque villages scattered around for you to explore. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 200 yards.

Ideal as a base for both sheffield and the Peak District. Perfect to allow me to compete in British Transplant Games in Sheffield and still enjoy the beautiful county of Derbyshire.

I had a wonderful stay here. Well equipped and very comfortable. Other than a business card for the owner, who i knew had been away, and the hotel, that was closed, there were no contact numbers, not even local doctor or vet, that I could find. Therefore, I didn't have anyone to contact regarding how to open the large wooden doors down stairs or the smoke alarm in the upstairs bedroom which kept bleeping. The only other negative thing was the patio area that was very over ground and full of weeds. Overall, it was a fantastic property to stay in and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Good clean house in a good location
