Guests say

The Coach House in Market Harborough offers a spacious and traditionally furnished retreat with multiple living areas, a well-equipped kitchen featuring an AGA, and a range of local amenities including a high-quality dining pub. Guests appreciate the property's character, warm hosts, and its location for exploring the beautiful countryside. Some concerns were raised about cleanliness and lighting, but overall, the property provides a comfortable and roomy stay with plenty of local information and walks.

Guests have noted that the property could be cleaner, with specific references to toilet hinges and an air fryer. However, there are no widespread complaints, suggesting that the cleanliness issues are not consistent across all stays.

The location is highly praised for its good base for visiting attractions, beautiful countryside, and proximity to a high-quality pub and local shops. The area offers nice walks and places to visit.

The property is described as roomy and warm, with a comfy bed and air conditioning available for summer. Some guests found the lighting sombre and the use of sheets and blankets instead of duvets surprising, but overall, the comfort level is high.

The Coach House is equipped with an AGA, plenty of kitchenware, and offers traditional furnishings and art. However, some guests mentioned issues with gate access and the need for better lighting, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests have mentioned warm hosts and a well-equipped property, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

  • ROLY

The cottage was in a good location and for myself there were some nice walks in the areaand lovely places to visit, it was very spacious with a sitting room, lounge, separate dinnind room and a lovely well equipped large kitchen. The only problem was with the gates on the drive, when we first arrived we were told that we could open them when we go out but asked to close them when we come back. The trouble was that the owner who lived next door to the cottage kept shutting the gates while we were out. As my wife is partially disabled it meant I had to get out the car to open then, drive through and get out again to close them. We came back once and were going back out shortly afterwards so as he was in the garden I told him I had left them open so I could drive straight back out and he promptly said "well I'll go and shut them". This was after I had twice given him his parcel that the delivery man had left at the closed gates.Very annoyed Roly.
