Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the garden and an unfenced reservoir.. From the breath-taking location of Bankside Cottage, guests can enjoy exclusive private walks, wildlife viewing points and the wow factor that comes from following the Estate’s private woodland road down to the 1800s cottage and its quintessentially English garden.
Great care has been taken to preserve the character of this period property while equipping it for modern living. The cottage is finished to a high standard throughout, combining comfort, quality and beautiful views from every room, with Revesby Estate artefacts adding to its distinctive character.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and ample worktop space, the dining room seats six, and the living room features a cosy log-burning stove. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with both bath and shower, a king-size master bedroom and two further bedrooms, storage, bedside tables and hairdryers.
The surrounding area offers something for all ages, from important wwii airfield museums and historic castles to seaside visits and countryside days out. Optional estate experiences such as fishing, estate tours and horse riding may also be available by prior arrangement, please enquire before booking and we will do our best to help create the perfect break.

This is our second visit within the past couple of months . We loved it so much we wanted to return . The cottage is , regardless of the weather , a tranquil and peaceful retreat . It is beautifully furnished , clean and has a fenced garden for the dog . Joanna is an amazing host and has throughout both our stays been very helpful. We will be returning again within the next couple of months . I cannot recommend it highly enough

A wonderful stay in a beautiful, peaceful location. The estate office was incredibly kind and helpful and the cottage and its garden are cosy, comfortable and very well maintained. Lots to do and see if you can tear yourself away from the peace and beauty of the immediate surroundings! Would not hesitate to return.

The location of this cottage is excellent being on the wooded bank of a private reservoir in a private estate; furthermore it is within a very short distance of attractive villages, towns and cities, and the coast. The cottage was homely in the best way, comfortable and with all we required ready to hand. We relaxed from the first to the last moment and would most strongly recommend it.
