We actually loved the cottage and the location but booked the cottage only because we would be allowed to fish the reservoir for the pike. But we were told that they had had some losses of Carp due to the oxygen levels but it would be ok to fish according to the bailiff. We later learned that almost all the fish had been lost and we were wasting our time sat fishing for the pike and didn’t even see the fishery manager . We explained we only wanted the cottage so we could fish for the pike so somebody could have told us we were wasting our time in the pea green water after the loses.

All top notch. Quiet and secluded but close enough to many places of interest. One tiny tiny infinitesimal niggle is lack of proper bread knife.. Owners could not be more helpful. Overall a splendid experience.
