Misdale House, with its lovely abundant wildlife-friendly garden, is an oasis of calm and relaxation. After parking up, we didn’t use the car all week, and instead enjoyed the many independent shops, pubs and cafes in Louth, all within easy walking distance. The owner, Liz, was there to greet us on our arrival, and was a friendly contact for whenever we needed anything. We highly recommend Misdale House - for us, it was one of the best cottages, in the best location, of all our holiday stays.

A true "hidden gem" - in the literal sense of the term. You enter the garden of the property through a nondescript garage, and what a garden! Entirely walled and private, with plenty of places to sit and take in the bird song. The property seems much larger inside than the impression you get from outside. Excellently equipped. And yet, you are actually only minutes away from the centre of Louth.
