Sandilands has always been a popular destination for family holidays for many generations and is still largely as it was many years ago. Miles of sandy beaches and colourful beach huts await you and Summer House is only 200 yds from the seafront. Nearby Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe can we walked to down the sea wall or catch a bus from nearby.
For family days out the seaside resort of Skegness offers all the fun of the fair plus amusements, an aquarium, and cinema. Butlins and Fantasy Island also offer opportunity for family days out or simply stay at home and enjoy the delights of the beach with a shop, pub, and cafe 150 yds away close to the seafront.

Not suitable for disabled, get rid of old furniture .f I n d a good cleaner and leave list of where things are and rubbish collection days. All old sheets and pillowcases. Everything on high side .

We stayed at this cottage for a week and overall had a lovely time. The property is spacious and well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, which includes a dishwasher and a second fridge-freezer—very handy for family stays. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was a real bonus.The garden was a highlight, with plenty of space, a sturdy picnic table, and a brick BBQ stand that made outdoor meals easy and enjoyable. Inside, both the kitchen and bathroom were clean, and the WiFi worked reliably throughout our stay.There were a few downsides: the hot water was a bit hit-and-miss, and we noticed pet hair on the rug in the summer room. Some drawers had odds and ends left behind, and a deeper clean under beds, sofas, and cushions wouldn’t go amiss. There’s no washing machine, but there are laundrettes within a short driving distance.One key feature that drew us to book—the room with a double and twin beds—wasn’t quite as described. The dividing curtain that used to give some privacy between the beds was no longer there, which made it less ideal for our setup with small children.All in all, it’s a comfortable base in a great location, just needs a few tweaks and a deeper clean to really shine.

The bungalow was spacious and comfortable the garden area was great for our dog and was well maintained.The bed was very comfortable with nice linen. However one of the wardrobes was unusable as it had a smell of urine, the bedroom furniture is tyred and dated and old fluff and plaster dust under drawers. The shower was good but very slippery so had to use one of the hand towels to stand on. The kitchen was clean and all equipment was in good order. Living room was comfortable again the furniture was tyred and dated. Location was great for us quiet within a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach.There isn't a pub the fat seagull restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday and only opens to 3pm. Plenty of good takeaways in Sutton on sea 5mins drive away. Can recommend the axe and cleaver pub restaurant the biggest vegitarian and vegan menu I have seen, they also have a doggy menu.
