We really enjoyed our time here. The kitchen is full of everything you could imagine (apart from a toaster that was still on order). Its big and clean and has two fridge freezers so ample room. The table is long and sits everyone comfortably, the chairs are a little hard so we used the cushions to help. There is a wet room just off the kitchen next to the bunk beds room. Next door is a twin bed. The room down the hall is a small double, it is the hardest bed ever. We really struggled with the beds. At the end of the hall is another bathroom with a bath, another small double and the master with an en-suite and show. The water pressure is good. The water is hot.The WiFi is awful. It works in the front room and kitchen but the rest of the house forget it. There are no boosters. The pool is heated but make sure you cover each time you finish to retain the heat. The hot tub is lovely and really ends the evening well. There are NO TOWELS provided but there are hand towels in the bathrooms and soap. There is a play area, unfortunately it is right next to the septic tank and if the wind is in the wrong direction then you will know about it. There is a pond which is gated off. Its lovely to just have a wonderful around. We really liked the property but as the beds were incredible hard and difficult to sleep on we would not be returning which is a real shame.

Quality family time needed so we booked ings barn! Lovely place, highlights being the swimming pool and hot tub.Had almost every kitchen appliance but toaster was missing, when we asked caretaker (who was friendly and approachable) he explained one had just broken and had ordered another one! It wasn't an issue as we had the grill, but thought we,d say as didn't want them to think we had run away with it lol quite a few cobwebs around,it wasn't filthy by any means it was standard cleanliness! Stripped bed morning of departure and my quilt needed changing I didn't inspect the rest of them! Like I've said not complaining by any means but just giving an honest review as it cost a lot of money. I would still definitely recommend, we were most fortunate with the weather as main focus for us was the pool :)

We have just returned after enjoying a week's holiday at Ings Barn, the swimming pool was the highlight of the holiday especially for the children, the pool was lovely and warm and a great size for everyone to enjoy. There is a co-op about 5 miles away for bread and milk, but we had a tesco delivery as this was easier as there was nine off us.In regards to the Barn it self I would definitely say it really needs a update, it's looking very tired in places, around the pool and terrace area alot of the slabs are uneven and broken. Inside the Barn the walls and fixtures are looking tired, and just generally looking dated and tired, really needs a paint and some extra furniture, especially in master bedroom as no shelve in bathroom or bedroom to put anything on. Also no Internet at that end of the Barn, with teenage kids this was a slight issue (maybe needs and boost box). And no towels included. With alittle investment this Barn would be amazing. The handyman was great, the wet room shower drain was blocked, and he fixed that for us, and also told us about the Donkey sanctuary to visit, which was a nice afternoon out.Overall we had a lovely holiday, and although the Barns interior didn't quite live up to out hopes, we still enjoyed ourselves. I'm not sure I would pay to return again as without the swimming pool and hottub I don't think it's a luxury holiday home, compared to others we have stayed in.
