Nestled in the tranquil grounds of Ashtree Court, these adjoining cottages (five in total) with a shared heated indoor pool really are some of the most delightful cottages you will find in the area. Within 5 minutes of the glorious sandy beaches and easy reach of the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, these four extremely comfortable cottages form a small select group overlooking a central courtyard and enjoying shared use of a heated indoor swimming pool and children’s play area. Set in 4 acres of beautiful mature gardens they offer the ideal location for a relaxing holiday and for touring the coast and wolds. There is excellent coarse fishing just 300 yards away and golf (handicap required) is available at the well-known Seacroft links golf course and Northshore (no handicap), which are both nearby. Within easy reach are the famous Battle of Britain Aircraft Museum and the East Kirby Lancaster Museum, rspb Gibraltar Point, NT Gunby Hall, Snipedale Nature Reserve and Forest, and the historical city of Lincoln with its cathedral, castle and excellent shopping. Antique hunting can be enjoyed at Horncastle 18 miles away, and Louth offers a lovely traditional market town. Skegness and Ingoldmells with its seaside attractions, is just 2 miles. Shop and pub 1 mile. 2 dogs allowed.. All properties: Oil central heating (timer controlled), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (Shared). 4-acre garden with barbecue area and garden furniture (Shared). Children’s play area with swings and slide. Lovely peaceful location with countryside views, yet only a short drive to Skegness and other seaside resorts. The gardens are spacious and attractive and lots of space for children to play, with benches for outdoor eating. The indoor swimming pool definitely a big bonus.The cottage was well equipped with tea, coffee, milk in the fridge on arrival so we could have a cuppa. Even salt, pepper and vinegar. Plenty of utensils, crockery etc. Oven was a bit complex compared to ours at home! Microwave oven also in kitchen. There were a couple of bbqs outside but we didn't use them. Towels provided , we just took pool towels with us.Comfy beds and big pillows, with extra blankets provided. Nicely decorated rooms, 1 double (was low but ok for us) and 2 twin beds. Wardrobes in both bedrooms. Lounge and dining space fit 2 adults and 2 children comfortably.Board games and books were a nice touch. The cottage was lovely and cool in the heatwave we had which was very good! The pool with shared access between the cottages was rarely busy and easy to have it to ourselves over the bank holiday weekend as it is open 7am to 7pm. Inflatables /pool toys a nice addition although we did bring a few of our own. Dog friendly accommodation.Owners very welcoming and helpful.

Absolutely stunning place would highly recommend. The barn was beautiful ,cosy and clean. The grounds are beautiful and Roxy my cavapoo loved the walks.. very peacefull and quite but only about 10 mins from the hustle and bustle. Local amenities close by.Helen and Chris the hosts are very welcoming and friendly and on hand for any advise you need. Would highly recommend and will be back

This was just what we needed for our 4 generation holiday away. The accommodation in the Old Barn was a little snug but we had everything we needed. The owner Helen was very friendly and helpful. We always thought that the pool would be useful if the weather was poor and how right we were. My grandchildren went in 3 times one day! They absolutely loved it. We took full advantage of the lovely garden and ate outside 2 evening when the weather was good. The 2 older boys (8&4) loved the freedom of being able to explore and run around. It was great for badminton. We found a good selection of supermarkets only 5 minutes away and loved the nearest beach at North Shore. The boys definitely want to come again.
