Just Jane's Hangout is praised for its excellent location, ideal for visiting local attractions and its proximity to a pub with nice meals and staff. The cottage offers a comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi, making it a suitable base for exploring Lincolnshire. However, some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance that need addressing.
Several reviews mention cleanliness issues such as excrement on the toilet seat, a blocked shower drain, and slugs in the living area, indicating a need for a deep clean and better maintenance.
The location is highly appreciated for its convenience to local attractions and the bonus of being within walking distance to a pub, despite some remarks about the immediate surroundings.
Guests found the cottage comfortable, particularly noting the comfortable bed and adequate space for a couple and a dog, though one review mentioned the cottage was smaller than expected.
Facilities are generally adequate with enough equipment for a stay and good Wi-Fi, but issues with shower drainage, lack of vacuum, and unclear waste disposal instructions suggest room for improvement.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

A difficult one to review. Nice compact cottage with enough equipment for a weeks break. Unfortunately there was excrement on the toilet seat which we had to clean off and the shower did not drain until we cleaned out the drain head - not our Job! The shower area could also do with some attention. No vacuum provided. No instruction re waste disposal other than bin under sink. Towels were adequate but poor with bleach stains. The situation of the cottage in the pub car park and entrance to camp sight is rough and untidy so not much of an outlook. Trying to be fair as we were not uncomfortable there but won’t be returning.

Just Janes needs a deep clean, the shower drain was blocked by hair (previous tenants), I cleaned it to make it work correctly and some slugs were crawling across the floor of the living room each morning. The location for visiting all the local attractions was terrific and being within walking distance of the pub was a bonus, very nice meals and staff. The local history is a feature of the location.
