Highlights:- Internally, there's the clear hand of expert interior design. The upstairs suite is particularly lovely. The fixtures and fittings are a step higher than your typical holiday cottage - check out that chandelier! (And excepting the understandably robust carpeting and budget sofas.)- From every window, the views of serene woodland are beautiful and you're straight out into the woodland walks on the estate- You are left to your own devices, but absolutely every member of staff we came across was very friendly and helpful.- With permission, you get to view the main gardens which were absolutely beautiful. The heated pool (private when you book) was also perfect - in such a beautiful setting too. And a tennis court!- Door step delivery of fresh eggs twice a week - unexpected and very welcome- Rural walks on your doorstep. Convenient for Lincoln- Walkable to a good pubWould suit an active family who enjoy the countryside.Only drawback was I didn't get chance to personally thank anyone for such a wonderful stay! (And cottages.com request for review had gone into my junk folder, so I'm a bit late writing this up.)

Hi, we enjoyed the barn house and the pool. It has a nice feel to the place, very quiet and the pub up the road was also good. The beds were comfy and had everything we needed.Pool booking was a bit challenging in advance but engaging with the team, on site, was good. The instructions in the house states no dogs upstairs.

The place was exactly as described, clean, cosy and well-equipped. The pool right next to the house was a perfect way to spend the day, although it is worth noting to ring in advance to book slots. The same goes for the tennis courts. There were plenty of extra towels and linens and the fresh eggs delivered for breakfast were a lovely bonus! Would definitely stay here again :)
