Set in the grounds of the owners’ working arable farm sit these wonderful properties, consisting of Roach (UK42139), two semi-detached holiday cottages (refs UKC1907 and UKC1909) and two semi-detached adjoining lodges (refs UKC2202 and UKC2203) which have an inter-connecting locked door, which can be opened to interlink the lodges if required. The grounds benefit from two large, well-stocked fishing lakes.
The properties provide comfortable accommodation and share an indoor heated swimming pool and 20 acres of grounds (please bring own towels to use at the pool). The city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, castle, Christmas markets and Magna Carta Visitor Centre, is just 5 miles away, with the showground at Newark, approximately a 15-minute drive, well known for its international antique fairs. There are also good walks and cycle routes in the area. Burton Waters inland marina is close by, with a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Carp Cottage (ref UKC1907), Koi Keep (ref UKC1909), Lucy’s Lodge (UKC2202) and Ammiee’s Lodge (UKC2203) can be booked together to accommodate up to 26 guests.

We stayed at carp cottage between Christmas and new year for a week and had a wonderful time!The cottage was spotless and extremely well equipped Small toiletries in bathroom and bits of kitchen cleaning items to get you started Loads of towels and tea towels which can be lacking in places like this. Lots of storage and hangers in wardrobes , we especially loved the closet In the hall upstairs which kept our cases out of site and gave us more bedroom space.There was a Christmas tree up which made it feel very homely and Peter met us to show us around which was helpful, lovely man.The pool is a brilliant addition , just book slots when you want to go and was warm even in December the kids loved it especially!Could just have used a floor mop and bucket so guests could give it a wipe round after use ,as some people before us had left some muddy prints, around the pool , but this no way marred our time here.Electricity is by the meter and we used about £15 for a week which was brilliant as we we using to and cooking facilities most days!Take £1 or £2 coins for this.Coop in Saxilby is closest shop but quite pricy so we took most food with us or went to supermarket in bigger town.Lincoln about 15 mins away by car and an uber was £23 for 5 people.We would definitely stay here again but like to go to new place each time we travel but if Lincoln calls again we wouldn’t hesitate to come back Thank you all at Wallrudding Farm!

We had a warm welcome and enjoyed this spacious, well-kept accommodation. The pool was the main draw for us as a family and it was great to be able to book spaces (there's a folder with time slots in the pool building).

We loved our stay at carp cottage. It is well equipped and having sole use of such a large swimming pool for such a good weekly rate was amazing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was a previous guest hadn’t washed up the crockery properly and so I had to run it through the dishwasher before using it. Additionally although the description says there is a shower over a bath sadly it is just a shower (my autistic son refuses showers and wants baths which made it tricky). Please can you update the description cottages.com. However these things don’t stop me giving this lovely place a strong recommendation.
