The owner rang me the day before to say I could check in early as the property was empty, and this thoughtfulness is a perfect example of how the owner thinks about her guests. There was a generous welcome hamper as well. I would recommend this cottage as a perfect base for exploring around the area.

Lots of treats left which we enjoyed which was a nice thing to do. I am from Lincoln originally and we were visiting from Cumbria. Nice having a home from home while visiting the area and good friends. We will book again. Ps. Lincoln 3 miles. Good bus service very nearby.
