Howell Hall Barn is a spacious and comfortable cottage ideal for family gatherings and group stays, offering a quiet, rural location with local amenities within walking distance. Guests appreciate the ample outdoor space, hot tub, and large dining area, though some attention to detail regarding cleanliness and maintenance would enhance the experience.
Guests have noted issues with cleanliness, including surface-level cleaning, marked furniture, and unclean fixtures. However, some reviews mention the property being clean and comfortable, indicating inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is praised for its quiet and secluded nature, with a local town and amenities like a CO-OP & Butchers within walking distance, making it a positive aspect for guests.
The property is generally found to be comfortable, with ample space, a large dining area, and good sleeping arrangements. Some guests have suggested improvements to enhance comfort further.
Facilities such as the hot tub, pool table, and outdoor space are well-received, but maintenance issues with appliances, furniture, and the absence of a BBQ despite promises detract from the overall experience.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Great location and plenty of parking. The property facilities need updating the dishwasher was filthy and left pots still dirty. The downstairs toilet seat was held on by one side hinge when we arrived which is not acceptable when there was 7 females using the toilet. The shower drains in the bedrooms/ bathrooms showers smelled unfortunately. The building was big enough for our party of 9 adults and 2 children plenty of room inside and outside. The hot tub was great for everyone who used it.
