Fantastic holiday house. Spacious but also cosy, amazing hot tub, comfy beds, kitchen has everything you could need. We only stayed 2 nights and wouldve loved to stay longer! Also, the only thing we couldnt find was an ice cube tray, so I messaged the owner Fraser just to see if there was one hiding somewhere. He turned up shortly after not only with an ice cube tray, but a bag of ice! The definition of above & beyond. We also ordered some of his wine, which he delivered, and it was delicious and highly recommended. Thank you very much for everything Fraser!

The house is lovely but we had a few issues from the begining. The property is advertised as having an EV charger but when we got there, there was no EV charger at the property. When this was queried with the owner, we were told "the ev charger is currently broken we are waiting a replacement". This was a problem as we had 2 EVs which were reliant on being charged after travelling to the property. We were informed of other EV chargers nearby, but these were expensive and meant we had to spend the best part of half a day of our holiday charging our cars. The house was also advertised as 3 bathrooms. Of the 3 showers, the ensuite did not work at all, the downstairs shower was scalding hot and could not be turned down, and the hot water ran out very quickly. We also had a mouse in the kitchen next to the aga and found mouse droppings in the drawer. Other than this, we still had a nice time but we were aware of these issues before booking, we probably would have looked elsewhere.

Cottage was very tired and needed general maintenance. Heating didn’t heat the whole house, not enough hot water available, insufficient toilet roll and change of hand towels.
