Guests say

Grange Farm Cottage is highly praised for its peaceful and rural setting, offering a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, enclosed garden for dogs, and the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts. The spaciousness and cleanliness contribute to a relaxing stay, with many visitors looking forward to returning.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few mentioned the presence of dog hairs, suggesting room for improvement in pet hair removal.

The cottage's location is frequently described as peaceful and perfect for long walks, bird watching, and visiting local attractions. Its rural setting is appreciated for the tranquility it offers, although the proximity to fireworks was a concern for one guest.

Guests generally found the cottage to be cosy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a warm atmosphere. Some guests mentioned the need for a better mattress and more comfortable sofas, which slightly affected the comfort score.

The cottage is well-equipped and guests are pleased with the amenities provided. However, suggestions for improvements such as better lighting in the garden, a spa bath, and faster Wi-Fi indicate that there is some room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with several guests mentioning welcome gifts and provisions like milk, tea, and biscuits. It is noted that such gestures greatly enhance the experience, although it is politely stated that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

it was the most comfortable and roomy of the previous, there was a good fenced off garden for our 2 young Labs. it was very peaceful with helpful neighbours across the road who will mind your dog/s if needed. Good off road parking and lots of safe walking. We hope to return in the future.

  • Christine

Comfortable beds, friendly neighbour and a lovely walk into the village of Sutton Bridge or down to the picnic area and viewing point for the wash. Great base for exploring the area, or just recharging your batteries.
