Stone Lodge in Grantham offers a cosy and welcoming stay, with guests praising its warmth, spaciousness, and well-equipped amenities. The local village charm and proximity to pubs and market towns add to the appeal, though some guests noted parking challenges. The hosts' hospitality, including a generous hamper, is frequently commended, enhancing the overall experience.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, with high-quality linens and towels. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experience.
The location is appreciated for its village setting and proximity to local amenities, pubs, and attractions. However, concerns about parking on a blind bend and the lack of an enclosed garden for dogs slightly affect the score.
Reviewers find the cottage to be very comfortable, with cosy living spaces, warm bedrooms, and effective heating. The comfort of the beds and the overall cosiness of the cottage are highlighted.
The property is well-equipped with a full kitchen, quality appliances, and reliable heating. Some guests suggest minor improvements, such as adding a place for soap/shampoo in the shower, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs.
While guests are delighted by the generous hamper and the welcoming nature of the hosts, there are not enough reviews mentioning consistent thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed.

We enjoyed our stay at Stone Cottage and the heating was very good for February. The owners David and Danni were very helpful. We did find the drive out was very difficult due to the bend in the road. Please note for dog owners that there is no enclosed garden which can be inconvenient but a footpath is just a stone's throw away.

The Cottage was very well equipped. The downside for us was that it didn't have an enclosed garden which meant that we couldn't let our dog out without being with him and on the lead as it was open to the road.Other than that we were very happy all be it rather cold at first although the heating was working . We put it down to maybe the property not occupied prior to our visit.
