Ideal for families, couples or friends seeking a nature-led escape with practical amenities close at hand, this single-storey pod provides a well-planned studio-style layout within a tree-lined setting.

Entering the pod, guests are welcomed into an open-plan living space that blends sleeping, dining and relaxing areas into one sociable room.

The large double sofa bed offers a comfortable area to relax and watch the woodland wildlife from your patio doors, whilst the fully equipped kitchenette is ideal for preparing light meals and refreshments.

The pod sleeps up to five guests, with a maximum of four adults, and has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a single bunk above and a double sofa bed, offering flexibility for different guests. In the bedroom there is also a separate cloakroom with toilet and washbasin.

Outside, a non-enclosed decking area with furniture offers a pleasant spot to sit among the trees, where you may have a barbeque as long as it’s not on the decking, and raised above the ground, providing the option for outdoor dining. You can simply sit back and relax, or walk, hike or cycle throughout the vast forest surrounding trails, accessible directly from site. With the Forestry England visitor centre just a 5-minute walk from site, plan your escape with Go Ape, Pedal and Play, a café and multiple trails for all ages, all pet friendly.

Guests also benefit from the wider campsite facilities. As our guest you have free access to the shared modern facilities central to the campsite for showers, hairdryers, washing machines, tumble dryers, iron & board, and drying/security lockers, whilst the kids can enjoy the play park area. There is a complimentary dog wash, along with a bike wash and service areas. The campsite reception shop offers a range of daily essentials, locally sourced fresh meat, milk, butter and eggs, along with soft drinks, popular wines and beers and ice-creams, and a Rijo coffee machine for that anytime pick you up perk, all available when reception is open.

If reception is closed, don't worry, the 24hr, cash or card vending machines, located in the central facility block provide sweet treats and snacks as well as a selection of hot and cold beverages and soups at any time you need. They also host onsite catering vans most weekends if you fancy a Pizza or Fish and chips.

A supermarket can be found 1.8 miles away and a pub within 1.5 miles, while the surrounding area offers easy access to Sherwood Forest, Rufford Abbey Country Park and the market towns of Edwinstowe, Ollerton and Mansfield.

A pretty little village in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, the home of the legendary Robin Hood. The village boasts the church where, legend has it, Robin Hood and Maid Marian got married, and is an ideal location to explore local attractions such as Sherwood Forest with the famous Major Oak, Sherwood Pines with its excellent cycle routes and paths, and NT Clumber Park and Rufford Park and Abbey, with their beautiful grounds to explore. Edwinstowe is just two minutes from the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre and boasts a variety of shops and eateries, as well as a butcher's, baker's, newsagent and a supermarket. Just half an hour away from Edwinstowe are the delights of the Peak District, and Hardwick Hall is also within easy reach.

Note: This property can sleep up to five guests, but comfortably just four adults.

Note: Guests are to bring own bedding, towels, provisions and cleaning equipment.

Note: One additional parking space is available at a cost of £7.50 per day.

Note: To help protect the forest, the burning of natural wood is prohibited.

Charcoal and eco logs may be used on site, provided that all BBQs and fire pits are raised above the ground and away from decking.

All barbeques must be fully extinguished by 10pm.
