Lifford Coach House is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and high-quality finish. Guests appreciate the property's location for walks and local amenities, including a pub and deli. The accommodation is well-regarded for its thoughtful touches and welcoming owners, though some guests suggest minor improvements such as additional mirrors and heavier curtains.
Guests consistently mention the property's spotless condition and high standard of cleanliness, contributing to a very positive impression.
The location is generally appreciated for its quiet village setting, proximity to attractions, and local amenities, although one review mentions noise from nearby dogs and a football practice area.
The property is frequently described as comfortable, with comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, suggestions for heavier curtains for better sleep indicate a slight room for improvement.
Facilities are well-regarded, particularly for cleanliness and high-spec finish. Points are deducted for the lack of mirrors near plugs, absence of a freezer, and suggestions for additional crockery and hooks.
While guests find the property and its owners welcoming and helpful, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

Sutton-on-Trent is a significant Nottinghamshire village between Sheffield and Lincoln. The village's 2000 acres and River Trent are well-known. The Lord Nelson is the village's only bar. It's an independent, family-owned pub with superb cuisine, beer, and live music. A September celebration features historic vehicles, morris dancing, and music by local bands and artists. Lincoln is a picturesque drive from the village and offers several attractions, including the 11th-century Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Medieval Bishops' Palace, and the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. The house was actually better then the pictures, we stayed for 12 days and it was all good and something we can recommend. Very quite and nice neighborhood. The property owner was also very service minded, and made the stay very easy for us.

It was bright , clean and modern with everything we needed. It was great having the walks behind the cottage by the river for the dog. The ensuite bedroom could have done with having heavy curtains as the blinds had to be readjusted to make more private and the room was too light early in the morning when trying to sleep. A full length mirror would be nice too. We couldn't write in the visitor book sadly as there was no pen. We would return if in the area again. The Nelson pub was a bonus, great food! the information book was useful too.

Surrounded by barking dogs and the football practice area next to the house. Outside space was a strip of astroturf adjacent to the football area. House was comfortable and nicely finished.
