Yew Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches such as welcome packs. The facilities, including a hot tub and sauna, are appreciated, although there are occasional maintenance issues. The tranquil location is ideal for exploring the area, and the on-site cafe and nearby pub add to the convenience. Guests enjoy the privacy and the attentive staff, making it a favoured choice for a relaxing stay.
Guests consistently commend the lodge for its cleanliness, noting it as spotless and well-presented. There is, however, a single mention of cobwebs and an unclean outdoor area which slightly impacts the otherwise excellent feedback.
The lodge's location is celebrated for its quietness and proximity to local amenities, including pubs and scenic walks. It is also conveniently situated for visiting nearby towns. Some concerns about industrial work and smoke from a neighbouring farm are noted but seem to be infrequent.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the lodge spacious. The provision of fluffy robes and large towels adds to the comfort level. A few comments about heating issues and lighting for reading are minor detractions.
Facilities like the hot tub, sauna, and swimming pool are popular among guests. The well-equipped kitchen and on-site cafe are also appreciated. Some maintenance issues, such as lightbulbs and appliance malfunctions, are mentioned, indicating room for improvement.
The thoughtful gestures, such as welcome packs with Prosecco and chocolates, are frequently highlighted and contribute positively to the guests' experience. It is important to note that while these gifts are well-received, their inclusion with every stay may not be guaranteed.

Fantastic time as always. Staff are so friendly and couldn't do more for you! We had a small issue with the door to the garden not locking properly and someone from maintenance came out straight away and fixed it with no problem. Spacious clean and have everything you need. Our garden was fairly large which was great as we had 2 children with us. Looking forward to our next stay!

Lovely welcome pack. The staff are cheerful, friendly and efficient. The site is quiet and well maintained with attractive shrubbery and hedging. Its a great place to stay. Lots to do in the surroundings too. Although surrounded by fields its close to some lovely villages and not far from the A1 for trips further afield.
