Guests say

Willow Lodge in Oakham, Lincolnshire, is highly praised for its outstanding on-site facilities, including a hot tub and sauna, and its cosy, well-appointed cabins. Guests appreciate the warm welcome, including thoughtful welcome packs, and the lodge's tranquil setting, which is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the local village and countryside. Some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights are noted, but overall, guests report a very enjoyable stay and express a desire to return.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean, particularly highlighting the bathrooms. However, a few guests mentioned areas that could have been cleaner, such as the kitchen and lounge. The overall impression is positive, with some room for improvement.

The location is frequently described as lovely, perfect for strolls into the village, and ideal for a peaceful getaway. The proximity to local attractions and the private setting contribute to a high rating.

Guests often mention the lodge as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with luxurious touches like fluffy towels and underfloor heating. Some guests noted issues with bed comfort, but these seem to be isolated cases.

The facilities, including the hot tub, sauna, and swimming pool, are generally well-received. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working hot tub lights and sauna problems, which slightly lower the score.

Guests frequently express appreciation for the welcome packs and the provision of robes, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that while these gifts are often mentioned, their inclusion is a gracious gesture and not guaranteed for every stay.

Great reception people. Very quiet which suits us. Well-appointed Lodge with all facilities. Thanks for the chocs and fizz! A lovely pub (The Plough) 10 minutes walk away—excellent food at the Wheatsheaf We didn't need the hot tub, so some way of turning it off to save energy would be good. Thank you very much. We would go back.
