This stone farmhouse and separate barn conversion have been restored with close attention to detail using local stone with a traditional cruck roof frame and reclaimed stone tiles. With oak floors and flagstones throughout, the luxurious interiors combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style. The cottage is beautifully furnished, heated with ground source underfloor heating and with many features to delight, including a huge open fire in the living room with a traditional hearth and grate. The kitchen has state-of-the-art cooking appliances, granite worktops, a central island as worktop or breakfast bar and church pew-style seating, and the dining area offers an antique style oak dining table and leather chairs. The lavishly furnished bedrooms have sumptuous duvets and Melin Tregwynt blankets, and fabulous bathrooms with claw-foot baths and giant walk-in power showers. Stunning views can be enjoyed from several large terraces, and House in the Hills is equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture for memorable al fresco dining.

The property lies in a truly outstanding location with exceptional views of Hay Bluff behind and valley views in front. The environment is dramatic with the stunning Gospel pass is on your doorstep, cutting its way across Hay Bluff to Capel y Ffin; the atmospheric Llantony Valley, an incredible breathtaking drive not to be missed. There is a host of activities in the local area, the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley are perfect for walking and cycling, mountain biking and horse riding and for the more extreme, canoeing, gorge walking, caving and pot holing.
