Lovely, relaxing caravan holiday and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Caravan was clean, but the en suite has a constant smell that’s as if people have been smoking in it. A lot of the window handles won’t open which is sketchy if there was a fire. Thermostat on the shower is broken. It’s either scalding hot or freezing cold. Adjusted the boiler output to control the temp. Text the owner and he was getting a plumber in, but it wasn’t fixed while we were there. Runs parallel to a busy road which is fine during the day, but doesn’t seem to quieten off on a night. Good location, but on the pricey side for what it is. Wouldn’t recommend for more than a couple of nights.

Regal lodge was actually opposite this one.It was clean and tidy (except the pans and oven). The grounds are well maintained.The decking is secure ( need to wiggle the lock to engage it) but east facing, so the only negative is you lose the evening sun.Very small dog area but clean and maintained. Location of the site means you have to drive, it is not suitable to walk from the site. As there is no reception(just an email). The site is beyond the another site near the gate, so the directions are misleading.The welcome book could do with a major upgrade to include local walks, location of some of the information already included and opening times. (not much open on a Monday and a lot open much later)
