Most guests found the cottage very comfortable, highlighting cosy furnishings, comfortable beds, and a homely feel. A few reviews mentioned issues with mattress comfort and limited wardrobe space, but these were exceptions.

Guests appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, secure garden, and amenities such as a log burner, dishwasher, and washing machine. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, including the shower temperature and front door lock, but overall facilities were highly rated.

Several guests mentioned thoughtful touches such as logs for the fire and a selection of games and books. However, gifts or welcome packs are not consistently referenced and cannot be guaranteed. Some guests felt more could be done to make arrivals feel special.

Sadly this cottage wasn’t for us. There was an unpleasant odour from the second the door was open, and a rather grubby feel around the place. To be honest it’s due a thorough deep clean. The bed linen was good. The two double beds are uncomfortable. A lack of hanging space for clothes. No little touches. A slither of hand soap left in a bottle? Really? You can buy a full bottle for less than £1. It felt no effort had been put into making guests feel welcome.Sorry can’t recommend
