The location is frequently praised for its proximity to Cockermouth town centre and easy access to the Lake District, making it ideal for exploring the area.

A great base for exploring the Northern Lake District and we liked Cockermouth. Comfortable accommodation with everything we needed, and we very much appreciated the wine, tea, biscuits and milk on our arrival. The weather was also very kind to us.
