The lodge was near a main road and also a service road to a caravan site. No privacy sitting out on the patio.. The pub that was mentioned is at least two miles away.

Exactly what we were looking for. Well recommended. Not much to do round about but a good base for exploring. And the dog 🐕 loved it.
