This cottage is located in the pretty hamlet of Dubwath, which is situated on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake. Bassenthwaite Lake Station is on your doorstep, offering cream teas onboard the Orient Express train. Both Cockermouth, the birthplace of William Wordsworth, and the market town of Keswick are within 8 miles, and both have a great selection of independent shops and restaurants. The Lakes Distillery is less than a mile away and offers tours and tastings sessions. It also has a lovely bistro to enjoy a spot of lunch. Walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice with some fabulous walks from the door, including Sale Fell and Dubwath Silver Meadows Nature Reserve. For any mountain bike enthusiast, there are some brilliant tracks in Whinlatter Forest, only 8 miles away.
Walk through the private patio and enter the property to find yourself in the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Enjoy a movie or catch up on your favourite series on the Smart TV or relax and make plans for the days ahead while snuggled up on one of the comfy sofas.
