The cottage has spectacular views in all directions, with stunning sunsets over the Solway Estuary and the Scottish hills. The open plan living space offers beams and a large picture window with fantastic views to the fells and open fields. There are many walking opportunities along flower filled country lanes and local bridleways, perhaps a visit to Bisney or Dash falls.
The nearest towns are Keswick and Cockermouth, both within 10 miles. The lovely Cumbrian villages of Caldbeck, Ireby and Uldale are a short drive away, all have good pubs serving food.

Fantastic place. out in the middle of nowhere with some lovely walks just outside your door.

The location was peaceful and views from the property were beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped and plenty of workspace. Nice upper open plan living with picture perfect views from many directions. Heating was great and welcoming to come back to after a bracing walk. Bedrooms spacious and nicely presented. We used the games room and enjoyed the table football, table tennis and pool table. Also available in this building was a tumble dryer and washing machine at a small cost. Plenty of local walks to enjoy and about 30 mins to Keswick and more central areas of The Lakes. We definitely would recommend New Park Farm especially if you want relaxing break.

Absolutely stunning property, amazingly friendly hosts and everything provided that you could possibly need. We did not want to leave. The views over the Solway Firth from our window were so beautiful. A gorgeous part of Cumbria with a high spec cottage provided the perfect way to introduce the Lake District to our American friend. We WILL be back.
