Guests say

Eribel Cottage in Keswick is highly praised for its stunning views, comfortable furnishings, and excellent location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and the property's proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. While some cleanliness and maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Cleanliness is generally good, but some guests have reported issues such as cobwebs, dust, and pet odours. There are mentions of a need for a deep clean and some inconsistency in standards, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is consistently lauded for its beautiful views, proximity to local attractions, and peaceful surroundings. Guests enjoy the nearby walks and the village amenities, contributing to a high score in this category.

Comfort is a strong point for Eribel Cottage, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy. Some minor issues with heating and a faulty fridge door are noted, but overall, guests report a relaxing stay.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchenware and has a utility area appreciated by guests. However, there are comments about the need for general maintenance, such as window locks not working and a lack of fire in winter, which slightly lowers the score.

There is insufficient information regarding specific gestures of thoughtfulness, such as gifts, to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The location is fantastic for walking. The property itself is lovely, spacious with everything you would need. The rooms are spacious and the views from the living room are amazing. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be for an electric car charger to be installed. I know alot of cottages are now having these installed so it may just be an idea for the owners to think about. I highly recommend this cottage and I am already looking at booking again later in the year.

Third time of visiting but this time the heating was very hit and miss! Would also have been better if we could have opened the downstairs shower room window.
