Carthwaite is a four-bedroom town house, superbly equipped and furnished throughout, ideally suited for six with the added flexibility of a seventh bed. Situated in a quiet residential area but only 5 minutes level walk into the town centre, it provides easy access to shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions.

The four bedrooms comprise two doubles, (one with en-suite), one twin and one single room. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. The property also has a downstairs toilet and washbasin, making it ideal for the larger family or two smaller families sharing.

Patio doors from the living room open onto a small rear garden which is enclosed, well sheltered and south facing. On sunny days it is a sun trap, providing an ideal place to relax, either in the morning, lunchtime or especially in the afternoon after a rewarding walk.

A new kitchen was fitted in January 2020. It is well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A combined fridge/freezer contains four fridge shelves and one drawer and three freezer drawers.

A small car park at the rear provides one allocated space to the property and is situated in the corner of the car park, directly opposite Carthwaite’s rear garden gate. On-street parking is also available. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

There are low banisters at the property.

    Perfect 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property , ideal location , pleasant walk into Keswick town centre. Off street parking , but can be a bit tricky if neighbouring properties are in use otherwise very handy to not have to worry about a space near by. All kitchen equipment was there , anything / everything you can think of , been here before , it’s soo cosy , warm in the winter and cool in the summer , nice little back garden to sit out in if it’s nice out .

    Was perfectly situated in the town, 5 minutes walk to the town centre. 15 minutes to the lake. plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town but if you wanted to eat in the kitchen/dinning was perfect for food and the lounge was comfortable. was perfect for our (lads) weekend away, biking and hiking lots of space for the 5 of us

    Although the accomodation was a little further away from town than we are used to, it made up for that in internal space, cleanliness and complete silence. The parking spot is a little tight for a larger car, but a total necessity in Keswick, as parking on the street is in very short supply. Overall, an excellent choice for accomodation in Keswick as long as a short walk into town is not too inconvenient for you.
