Please note: There is limited headroom at the top of the stairs, please take care.. Green Ghyll is a large, comfortable and welcoming cottage just a few moments from the heart of Keswick. Sleeping up to six guests spread over three floors, it offers lovely views of the surrounding fells. The top floor features a kingsize, en-suite bedroom with sweeping views towards Grisedale Pike. The first floor features a large bedroom with kingsize bed and fell views again, along with a twin bedroom at the rear. On the landing near the family bathroom is a bonus cubby, containing games and books for guests to enjoy. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped as is the utility/drying room, the perfect place for your outdoor gear. Green Ghyll is ideally situated within a 5 minute level walk of Fitz Park and Keswick town centre, perfect for exploring everything that Keswick and The Lake District has to offer. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Due to the heritage of the property, the water pressure at times may not be sufficient to run the shower in the en-suite bathroom if the main bathroom shower is run simultaneously.

The rental property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The position close to the centre of Keswick was very convenient.

Brilliant location. Managed to find a parking place quite close by but I do think it’s a matter of luck and timing. Lots of space in the bedrooms. I agree with a previous comment that a mirror on the wall in the bedrooms would be really useful. No toilet paper? Half a roll in the en-suite but nothing at all in the main bathroom so please take your own

Lovely warm, cosy cottage. Comfortable beds, good kitchen. Parking ok, not always right outside but always managed to get a place nearby. No gas fire as advertised, but central heating and hot water good.
