A deceptively spacious cottage, Hastings has views of Latrigg from the lounge and front double bedroom. It benefits from private parking to the rear of the cottage and has outside seating in its enclosed rear courtyard. With a downstairs shower room with a large walk-in shower while upstairs there is a luxury free standing bath.
Situated in a quiet residential area, the cottage is just ten minutes’ walk from the shores of beautiful Dewentwater, with its lake cruises, rowing boats, Theatre by the Lake and the famous viewpoint of Friars Cragg. It’s also just five minutes’ level walk to Keswick town centre and its wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions, including the world famous Pencil Museum, Keswick Art Gallery and Museum and the original Alhambra Cinema. Hastings is perfectly situated with a choice of fell top hiking and low level walks available straight from the front door, and is the perfect cottage for a quiet scenic break or for enjoying the wide range of outdoor activities Keswick has to offer.

Excellent property, 2 mins walk from shops, pubs, eateries and market 2 days a week. The house had everything we needed, with easy to use appliances, constant hot water and central heating ( which we only used for an hour one evening). Hastings was perfectly clean and comfortable. Thank goodness for parking place at back of property (on some days a little tight as other vehicles were parking, but my husband managed it) as street was always full. An excellent stay all round
