Inglewood is a well-received cottage in Keswick, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and prime location close to the town centre. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the property's suitability for both families and pets. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The majority of guests found Inglewood to be clean and well-presented. A few mentioned specific issues such as dust, crumbs, and a smelly vacuum cleaner, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being close to the town centre and within easy walking distance to Keswick's amenities and attractions. The quiet street and proximity to the lake and parks add to its appeal.
Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with clean and comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. Some guests mentioned issues with furniture comfort and noise from the boiler, which slightly affected the overall comfort score.
The property is well-equipped, with a particularly appreciated kitchen. However, there are recurring comments about the lack of hot water and heating control, noise from the boiler, and the desire for a dishwasher, which impacts the facilities score.
While guests mention small welcoming touches like tea and coffee sachets, there is no consistent mention of gifts or additional thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Although the glasses seemed clean, but when held up to the light they were not and all needed washed by ourselves. We could hear the guests in your large property next door, as had been previously mentioned in reviews, but that cannot be improved. Overall the cottage was much roomier than expected and fairly comfortable. You need more coat hooks, a bigger mat at the front door and more thorough cleaners.

Some things to improve on...cooker hood top needs cleaned, toilet seat loose and back gate did not lock or close and when windy it was banging and swinging open.

The property is very well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, is well maintained and very clean. It is spacious and though there were only two of us there is ample space for five. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to come back. This is the first time we have stayed in Keswick as all the previous times have stayed in the South lakes and visited for the day. Keswick itself has a lot to offer and is a walkers paradise. The only fault with the property which we found was the toilet seat was slack and moved around but not a huge problem as it just needs tightening up.
