There are also excellent parks, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and great opportunities for mountain biking. Located close by, between Braithwaite and Buttermere, the stunning Newlands Valley is a must-see, as is the stunning Bassenthwaite Lake. It's easy to find a walk that suits your mood and fitness level, from a stroll around the countryside to a climb of Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells. We loved the excellent Location of the cottage to all amenities that we would require, I didnât do any cooking as we ate in the local pubs and cafes surrounding the cottage. My car never moved all week so much to see and do around Keswick . My poor dogs paws were so tired .

We found it very helpful to have instructions about the appliances (being from the States). The location was perfect, close to bus station and shops and pubs. And the Latch Cottage was charming; it added to our holiday pleasure.
