The Getaway in Keswick receives high praise for its prime location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the inclusion of a parking permit, and the proximity to local amenities. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently mention that the apartment is very clean, with only one isolated comment about dirty dishes. The high level of cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.
The central location is highly praised for its convenience to the town centre, supermarkets, and public transport. The provision of a parking permit is also greatly appreciated, despite occasional parking challenges.
The apartment is described as comfortable, with a good bed and spacious living area. Some guests suggest improvements to the sofa and mention the benefit of a fan during hot weather.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and large shower. However, there are comments about the need for minor repairs and upgrades, such as the shower tray and sofa cushions.
While guests are thankful for the 'extras' provided, such as starter tea, coffee, and milk, there is insufficient information to determine if these are consistent offerings or occasional gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such items will always be provided.

Car parking was easy enough albeit in a public car park 200 yards away. However the owner can get you a permit for your stay so there is no cost involved. A really good base for a holiday, would definitely stay here again.

Parking remains a problem. We took car out one day and could not get back into any of 3 carparks covered for 3 hours after our return. 2 minor issues with apartment. Toilet seat cracked. Kicking board falls down every time dishwasher door is opened.

One drawback is lack of a close-by parking space. But, the arrangement for parking was really helpful and much thanks is expressed to the local authorities for their generosity in this matter. My only plea would be precise sketch of the location of the entrance to the flat. Also the address is 8a Tithebarn Street but the number on the wall is 2, and the online map I was using had Tithebarn Street as Main Street. Apart from these minor matters of short duration whilst a stranger orientate themselves the whole week was super.
