A short walk will take you into the picturesque market town of Keswick, making this a great base to explore the north Lakeland Fells. Suitable for couples or families, the apartment is spacious with a bright and airy living room, complete with comfy sofas, and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room, for those hearty breakfasts to start your day. Set along a terrace row of similar traditional Lakeland property, the sash windows look out over the rooftops to the fells, including Skiddaw.
Walla Crag is perfectly situated to explore the Lake District. The market town of Keswick has an abundance of outdoor shops, restaurants and cafés, and there is also a plethora of walking and cycling opportunities nearby. Why not start your ascent on the infamous Cat Bells with a gentle crossing of Derwent Water on one of the cruises from Keswick Launch, or entertain the family at the many attractions that will capture their imagination close by. A whole host of outdoor activities can be found in the area, or for that special evening out, why not try one of the many fine dining restaurants, or catch a play at the Theatre By The Lake. For more traditional Lakeland nights, have a taste of the real ales that are served in the local pubs. Beach 24 miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Well equipped cottage at good location in Keswick close to center and close to walking routes.Very clean and good berth.Only the lower bathroom is a bit chilly in winter conditions; heating in the rest of the cottage is fine.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay, we have stayed in this area in another property over the past 3 years and this one was better value nicer views and very comfortable. We will be back !
