Guests consistently praise Greety Gate House for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and charming character. The property's large garden and thoughtful welcome packs are frequently mentioned, enhancing the homely experience. Its location in Cumbria & The Lake District offers a serene countryside setting, though some note it's a bit rural. Comfort levels are high, with cosy amenities and ample space for families. Facilities are generally well-received, though minor maintenance issues are occasionally noted.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers frequently commend the property for its cleanliness, with numerous mentions of the well-kept and tidy condition. There is a single mention of needing to wash kitchen items, but this seems an outlier compared to the overall positive feedback.

The property's location is appreciated for its beautiful countryside views and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests mention it is quite rural and requires a drive to access shops and activities, which suggests a slightly less convenient location for those without transport.

Comfort is a strong point for this property, with guests finding the cottage cosy and well-appointed. The spaciousness and the presence of en-suite bathrooms add to the comfort level, although there are comments about low beams and plumbing issues.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the conservatory. However, there are some remarks about the need for maintenance, such as a leaking toilet and the need for new frying pans, which suggests room for improvement.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is highlighted by the mention of welcome packs and treats for both guests and pets. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is important to note that such extras, though delightful, are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

The garden was nice and big and the kids loved it. The cottage was kept to a high standard and had everything in we needed. We would definitely look to book here again. The owners left us a welcome pack which was unexpected and a very nice surprise, we would highly recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Thank you for the great stay.
