The owner lives adjacent and outside you have access to an enclosed garden (shared with other apartments on-site). There’s superb rambling right from the doorstep, and you can enjoy a stroll through beautiful green wooded valleys, rich in bird life, and on to the tranquil waters of Coniston’s lake shore. You’re also within a convenient walking distance of the village inns with some top quality pub grub and restaurant food on offer. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 150 yards.

As a family of four, we had a lovely week in this warm comfortable apartment. The location is great for fabulous walks from the door to the surrounding peaks and lakes. Tarn Hoes just an hour or so walking distance and nice cafes and pubs in the village.

We stayed in the Yewdale Crags appartments. It was warm and cozy. The shower is hot and powerful and the bed was comfortable. Very convienitent for nice walks straight from the door and a number of local pubs and cafes to dine.

The owners lived at the same location so were on hand if there was any problems. Fortunately we had none so didn't need their help. When we did see them they were very pleasant and talkative with a greeting smile. The apartment felt very homely and comfortable which made us enjoy our stay immensely. It seemed to greet you with a big hug.
